Zinc Dust / Zinc Oxide
Zinc dust has a number of applications in the chemical industry, mainly as a reducing agent, and in the metallurgical industry as a cementation agent. Its most popular use is in paint and coatings; it offers excellent corrosion protection.
Zinc oxide is nearly insoluble in water but soluble in acids and alkalis. It occurs as white hexagonal crystals or a white powder commonly known as zinc white. Zinc oxide occurs in nature as the mineral zincite. Crystalline zinc oxide exhibits the piezoelectric effect and changes from white to yellow when heated.

Zinc Dust - We offer two different grades, at 95.5% wt Zinc. The first grade has an average particle size of 4 micron and the second grade has an average particle size of 6-8 micron.
Zinc Oxide - Our zinc oxide offering is 99.9% wt. pure and guaranteed at 0.21 - 0.31 µm (99.9% min) particle size.
