Maelic Resins
Maelic Resins are made up from gum rosins with a slight yellowish transparency. Maelic Resin is useful in polyester paints, lacquers, polyurethanes, traffic paints, hot-melt adhesives, and gravure inks. The resulting formulated products have good resistance to crushing, cracking, and abrasion. The maelic resin has good resistance to yellowing and aging with good adhesion qualities.
List of Maelic Resins
Our maleic resin is supplied in granular form. The material is stabilized and light color. The maleic modified glycerol ester possesses a high melting point and exceptional alcohol tolerance which exhibit good lacquer compatibility and solvent release. Lacquers incorporating the resin have high gloss, hardness and good adhesion. The maleic resin has good solubility in aromatic hydrocarbons and possesses limited solubility in aliphatic hydrocarbons and alcohols.
